Tigers have to stay focused

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It was not a good weekend for No. 16 Clemson as they were swept by No. 6 Louisville in three-game series, including Sunday’s heartbreaking loss on Sunday.

Corey Ray’s walk-off double lifted the Cardinals to a 9-8 victory. Louisville outscored the Tigers 31-12 in the series. It was the second time this year the Tigers were swept in a series. Miami took all three games at Miami last month.

Clemson (24-12, 8-10 ACC) will host Georgia on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. After the game, second baseman Weston Wilson told The Clemson Insider the team has to stay focused and not let this weekend beat them again because there is still a lot of baseball to be played.
