After two season in which he did not play because of arm injuries, Patrick Andrews is getting back to his old form.

The graduated student came out of the bullpen in Tuesday’s 13-4 victory over the College of Charleston and pitched three-plus strong innings for the Tigers. The righty did not allow a run or a hit in 3 1/3 innings of work as he struck out three batters and walked just one.

After suffering an elbow injury in 2014 and having “Tommy John” surgery to repair it, he missed the rest of that season and all of 2015. Tuesday’s relief appearance, in which he got his first win on the mound since 2013, was his 14th of the season.
