Since Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney took over the Clemson program at the midway point of the 2008 season, the Tigers have posted a 75-27 (.735) record. They have played for a National Championship, won two ACC Championships, four Atlantic Division Championships and won two Orange Bowl Titles.
Clemson has beaten traditional college powers such as LSU, Georgia, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Oklahoma (twice), as well as ACC rival Florida State (three times) in the seven previous years Swinney has been the head coach.
During this time Swinney has coached many great players, some might argue some of the best in Clemson history. In all, Swinney has coached 15 All-Americans, a Heisman Finalist, two unanimous All-Americans, three consensus All-Americans, three national award winners, three ACC Defensive Players of the Year and three ACC Players of the Year.
