Wynn continues to build bond with Hobby

Four-star 2018 defensive end Stephon Wynn was back at the Dabo Swinney Football Camp a few weeks back. The Clemson Insider caught up with the 6-foot-4, 250-pound prospect to get the latest.

“It went extremely well. I really enjoyed being up there and putting some work in with Coach (Marion) Hobby and Coach Dan Brooks,” said Wynn.

How does Wynn feel about Coach Hobby?

“I really like Coach Hobby. He loves football and he coaches his players hard,” Wynn said.

Wynn continues to build a strong bond with Coach Hobby.

“I feel like I’m very comfortable with him,” he said.

There are several more stops on the summer visit tour for the T.L. Hanna High School (S.C.) standout.

“I went to (South) Carolina a couple weeks ago. I plan on going to Tennessee and North Carolina and maybe somewhere else hopefully before the summer is over,” Wynn said.

When asked about his current favorites, Wynn responded, “I don’t really have any leaders yet. I’m just enjoying the process.”

What does Wynn think about Clemson’s chances of winning a national title this season?

“They have a great opportunity,” he said.

Expect to see the top defensive end back in Death Valley several times this fall.
