2019 running back loves Clemson after visit

Roswell (Ga.) 2019 running back Kamonty Jett visited Clemson on Saturday with a couple of teammates and some of the other top 2019 prospects from Georgia.

Jett enjoyed his time on campus.

“I really like the campus, and the weight room is very nice,” Jett told The Clemson Insider.

The highlight of the visit for Jett, he said, was watching Clemson practice.

What stood out to him about it?

“How quick the team goes through everything,” he said.

Jett also had the opportunity to speak with Dabo Swinney, and liked what he heard from the head coach.

“The way he talks, you know he means business,” Jett said. “He wants you to go 100 percent on everything. He makes it clear on what he wants to be done.”

Last Friday, Roswell beat Buford 24-7 in the two teams’ season opener. Jett is pleased with how his team competed.

“The game was pretty good,” Jett said. “We fought for it.”

After experiencing Clemson for the first time, Jett is intrigued by the school and intends to make it back soon.

“Yes,” Jett said when asked if he plans to visit again during the season. “I love what they’re doing with the school.”
