Safety Jadar Johnson says he is enjoying his new role as the starter for second-ranked Clemson. After waiting his turn the last three years behind guys like Jayron Kearse, T.J. Green and Robert Smith, he is finally “the man” and he is having a lot of fun.
Against Auburn last Saturday, he recorded five tackles, grabbed the fifth interception of his career, and broke up two Hail Mary passes in the final seconds to secure the victory.
Johnson spoke to the media earlier this week about the Auburn game and being the starter.
