Clemson offensive coordinator Jeff Scott was pleased with the way the offense bounced back in the third-ranked Tigers’ 59-0 victory over S.C. State on Saturday in Death Valley.
The Tigers racked up 555 yards of offense. The wide receivers bounced back after a bad week in the Troy game, in which they dropped eight passes, to catch 20 of the 27 completions on Saturday. Ray Ray McCloud led the Tigers with four catches for 60 yards and two touchdowns.
Deon Cain, Trevion Thompson and Diondre Overton all caught touchdown passes in the Clemson win.
