Clemson’s Deshaun Watson only played one half, but it was a good one, as the Tigers’ quarterback completed 12-of-15 passes for 152 yards and three touchdowns.
Wideout Ray-Ray McCloud caught two touchdown passes. One of Clemson’s touchdowns came after S.C. State’s kickoff returner forgot to take a knee and when he tossed the ball back to an official, the Tigers recovered.
Clemson topped the Bulldogs, 59-0.
