Clemson takes control

Clemson took a commanding 21-3 lead against Boston College late in the first quarter with its second touchdown in as many plays.

After Clemson’s defense forced a three-and-out, the offense took over, and Deshaun Watson immediately found a wide-open Jordan Leggett, who was hardly touched on his way to the end zone for a 56-yard touchdown reception.

It was the longest play of Leggett’s career, and Clemson’s longest pass play of the season, eclipsing Mike Williams’ 50-yard catch on the previous possession.
