Clemson added to an early advantage against Boston College with its second touchdown in a little more than six minutes. The Tigers took a 14-3 lead on a 9-yard touchdown pass from Deshaun Watson to Mike Williams.
A spectacular 50-yard diving catch by Williams earlier in the drive moved Clemson into the red zone. It was Clemson’s longest pass play of the season.
Overall, it was a six-play, 70-yard drive that spanned 2:11.
