After Dorian O’Daniel forced a Pittsburgh fumble that Dexter Lawrence recovered, it didn’t take long for Clemson to capitalize on the turnover and extends its lead. The Tigers took a 35-27 advantage on a 27-yard touchdown pass from Deshaun Watson to Deon Cain at the 9:53 mark of the third quarter.
The touchdown pass was Watson’s third of the day and Cain’s ACC-leading ninth of the season. It was a three-play, 47-yard possession that used just 55 seconds of clock. Hunter Renfrow had a 25-yard reception on the play prior to the score.
