Watson’s score was set up by a 39-yard reception by Deon Cain that moved Clemson inside Virginia Tech’s 15-yard line. It was a four-play, 51-yard drive that used just 1:19 of clock.
Watson’s touchdown marked his fourth (two passing and two rushing). He was 18-of-26 passing for 201 yards, with 66 rushing yards on 14 carries, at the time of the score.
