GLENDALE, Ariz. — Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables was all smiles talking about his defense’s shutout of No. 3 Ohio State on Saturday in the Fiesta Bowl. It was the first ever for an Urban Meyer coached team.

Venables said he hopes his defense gets a game ball and that those are hard to come by at Clemson.
