Clemson head baseball coach Monte Lee says he is excited to get the new year started. He and his 15th-ranked Tigers will open the 2017 baseball season on Friday against Wright State. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in Clemson.

Lee spoke with the media prior to Tuesday’s practice as he updated his roster, the injury to catcher Chris Williams, and announced his pitching lineup for the three-game series.
