After receiving an offer from Clemson last week, Birmingham (Ala.) Jackson-Olin four-star defensive tackle Coynis Miller plans to get on campus and check out the school.

“I’m planning to visit,” Miller told The Clemson Insider. “I don’t know the exact date but I know I’m going to get down there.”

Miller also owns offers from Alabama, Auburn, Bowling Green, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, LSU, Michigan and Ole Miss.

The top-150 overall prospect in the 2018 class and top-15 defensive tackle according to 247Sports is excited to have Clemson as an option.

Clemson extended the offer on Feb. 13.

“It meant a lot to me,” Miller said, “because I like the Clemson team and their defense and that I had a opportunity to be a part of that.”

What does Miller look forward to experiencing when he makes the trip to Tigertown?

“I want to meet all coaches and mainly the facility,” he said. “I heard it’s a sight to see so I want to see for myself and experience that.”

Miller said he has a couple of other visits coming up to Alabama on Feb. 25 and Louisville on March 4.

He intends to wait until after he takes more visits to begin narrowing his list of college choices, meaning his recruitment will likely stretch into the fall at least.

“I still have a lot to visit,” Miller said, “so I’m fully open.”
