Michigan grad transfer coming to Clemson

Michigan graduate transfer Mark Donnal will transfer to Clemson for the 2017-18 season, The Clemson Insider confirmed on Friday.

Donnal, a 6-foot-9 center, chose Clemson over Creighton and Vanderbilt.

He visited all three schools during the transfer process and made his visit to Clemson last week, arriving Thursday and leaving Saturday. We were told that Clemson impressed both him and his parents who accompanied him.

Donnal averaged 5.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.4 blocks per game in 101 career games with the Wolverines.

He is graduating from Michigan today and will be coming to Clemson in the next couple of weeks to begin working out, per a source.

Donnal will have one season of eligibility as a grad transfer.
