TCI Hitter-of-the Week #5 Chase Pinder
The junior outfielder from Poquoson, VA went 8-for-15 (.533) in four games last week to earn his third Hitter-of-the-Week award. Pinder had a double, two homers, two runs, five RBI, a walk, and was 1-1 on stolen bases with a .867 slugging percentage and a .563 on-base percentage.

The redshirt sophomore righty from Moore, SC earned his fourth Pitcher-of-the-Week award for his performance against #2 Louisville on Saturday. In 7.0 innings, Eubanks allowed three runs (three earned runs) on seven hits (.250 OBA) with no walks and eight strikeouts in a no decision.

Clemson, ranked as high as #12 in the country, beat Furman at Fluor Field during the week before being swept at home by #2 Louisville. The Tigers were outscored 21-20 despite outhitting the competition .292 (43 hits) to .272 (37 hits. On the week, Clemson had seven doubles, two triples, five homers, 17 walks, and two HBPs against 31 strikeouts while going 4-6 on stolen bases. The Tiger pitching staff had a 4.00 ERA, allowing 21 runs (16 earned) in 36.0 innings with eight walks against 30 strikeouts. Clemson fielded at a .969 clip, committing five errors in 162 chances.
