Jackson’s solo shot extends Clemson’s lead

Weston Jackson hit a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning against Vanderbilt, extending Clemson’s lead to 2-0 in Game 6 of the Clemson Regional at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

With two outs, Jackson turned on a 1-1 pitch from Vanderbilt’s Drake Fellows and cranked his eighth home run of the season over the left-center field wall.

In the first inning, Chase Pinder doubled home Seth Beer for Clemson’s other run to this point.
