What’s trending on The Clemson Insider today? A number of things from Clemson’s third practice of fall camp Saturday, including an injury update on receiver Cornell Powell, Jeff Scott on freshman receiver Tee Higgins’ physique and Dabo Swinney on who will return punts.
Also, Scott hasn’t been around a freshman receiver quite like Amari Rodgers (pictured), freshman running back Travis Etienne is wowing Swinney and the coaches, and Clemson’s functional depth is starting to show in camp. And receiver Ray-Ray McCloud is working at defensive back. Could it be permanent?
In other news, former Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson says it’s Kelly Bryant’s team, and Newberry’s head coach called The Citadel the “second-best team in South Carolina.”
