Clemson has offered Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer four-star cornerback Taiyon Palmer, he announced via social media Thursday evening.
Palmer, a Class of 2018 prospect, de-committed from Duke in late November.
Since then, Palmer has picked up offers from NC State, Louisville, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Syracuse and USF. He cites close to 20 offers in total.
Palmer (5-11, 178) is ranked as the No. 28 cornerback and No. 274 overall prospect nationally by the 247Sports composite.
Clemson’s offer to Palmer marks its third to a 2018 cornerback this year. The others went out to Mission Viejo (Calif.) four-star Olaijah Griffin and Washington (D.C.) St. John’s College High three-star D.J. Brown.
