Tigers offer brother of former Notre Dame player

Southlake (Texas) Carroll 2019 athlete T.J. McDaniel reported an offer from Clemson on Thursday.

“VERY EXCITED to say I have received an offer from Clemson University,” McDaniel wrote in a Twitter post.

McDaniel (6-0, 183) received his first offer from Azusa (Calif.) Pacific University in November.

McDaniel’s older brother Cam played four seasons at Notre Dame and is now a running back for the Toronto Argonauts in the CFL. His middle brother Gavin started his career at Washington before transferring to Azusa Pacific.

T.J. transferred to Southlake Carroll High from Coppell (Texas) High. He plays both running back and defensive back for Southlake Carroll.

As a junior last season, T.J. ran for 1,868 yards and 23 touchdowns. He accounted for 2,075 all-purpose yards and 24 scores against Texas 6A competition.
