Clemson took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second as Chris Williams scored on an RBI groundout by Drew Wharton.

Williams led off with a single and advanced to third on a base hit from Robert Jolly. Wharton hit a chopper toward third allowing Williams to come plateward.
