Clemson head coach Monte Lee was pleased with the performance of his pitching staff as the 11th-ranked  Tigers defeated Furman 12-4 at Doug Kinsgmore Stadium in Clemson.

Lee praised pitcher Sam Weatherly, who made his first start, on his first performance on the mound.
