CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Clemson pitcher Ryley Gilliam came in with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth inning Sunday and the Tigers up a run, and once again he saved the game.
Gilliam picked up his 10th save of the year, and his third of the weekend as No. 8 Clemson swept Virginia with a 9-8 victory. It marked the Tigers eighth straight win.
