Dexter Lawrence collected another accolade on Monday.
The former Clemson and current New York Giants defensive tackle was named to the 2022 All-NFC team, announced by the Professional Football Writers of America (PFWA).
It’s another nice honor this season for Lawrence, who was also selected as a Pro Bowl reserve and earned second-team All-Pro honors by the Associated Press. Aditionally, he was named to the first Players’ All-Pro Team.
In his fourth NFL season, Lawrence recorded career highs in tackles (68), tackles for loss (7), sacks (7.5), quarterback hits (28), passes defended (3) and forced fumbles (2) across 16 regular season games.
In the Giants’ win over the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Wild Card Playoffs on Jan. 15, Lawrence recorded six tackles, including two solo and a tackle for loss. He led the Giants with four quarterback hits and eight pressures, according to Next Gen Stats.
