Georgia WR Gets Clemson Offer, Feels ‘Nonstop Love’ on Great Visit

After visiting Clemson last Saturday, this talented prospect from the Peach State left Tiger Town with a new offer in tow.

Buford (Ga.) High School’s Jordan Allen traveled to campus for the Florida State game, and he became just the second receiver in the 2025 class to earn an offer from Dabo Swinney’s program.

“It felt great because Clemson is pretty selective with who they offer and everything, so it really meant a lot,” Allen told The Clemson Insider. “They showed a lot of love when I was down there. I love the program, I love the offensive scheme, I love all the coaches on the staff. It really felt good.”

From the very start of Saturday’s visit, Allen was feeling the love from receivers coach Tyler Grisham, area recruiter Mickey Conn and the Tigers’ staff.

“Ever since I stepped foot off the bus, it was just nonstop love,” Allen said. “Coach Grisham and Coach Conn and (senior director of recruiting and player development) Jordan Sorrells and all those guys were waiting for me to get off the bus and greeting me and welcoming me and making my time there good. It was a great experience. I loved it down there.”

Clemson’s staff loves Allen (5-8, 170) as well, and what the speedy, shifty junior brings to the table as a receiver.

“They like my speed, my sure hands, my explosiveness, my change of direction, the way I run routes, all of it,” he said.

Allen competed at the Dabo Swinney Camp in early June, but Saturday marked his first gameday visit to Clemson.

“It was very electric in the Valley,” he said. “It was very loud. It was a hard-fought game, and that’s all you want.”

Allen plans to return to Clemson again for the Nov. 4 game vs. Notre Dame.

Along with the Tigers, Allen has accumulated offers from schools such as Duke, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Mississippi State, NC State and Pittsburgh.

At this point in his recruiting process, Allen sees two schools standing out above the rest.

“Definitely I would say 1A, 1B right now is definitely Georgia and Clemson,” he said. “They’ve been showing the most love by far. I can’t really put one of them in front of the other, but both of them have been showing major love to me since August 1st.”

Allen explained what appeals most to him about Clemson when he thinks about the opportunity he now has to suit up for the Tigers in the future.

“Just the way they play for each other,” he said. “They’re playing for the person next to them, and it’s not always about them. They’re playing for each other. And the offensive scheme, the offensive coaches, they really know what they’re doing, and they get the ball in the playmakers’ hands and just let them do what they do.”
