2024 TE with Swinney connection receives offer from Clemson

A Clemson recruit with connections to head coach Dabo Swinney received the official offer from the Tigers. 2024 tight end Brooks Mauk is the latest to receive an offer from Clemson, a late push in the cycle.

Mauk has a deep connection with the program. His father, JJ, played high school football with Swinney, but Mauk said that connection never impacted his recruiting. Now, after experiences at the Dabo Swinney Camp, he’s officially received the offer from Clemson. Mauk announced the new on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The Tigers have one tight end commitment for 2024 in Christian Bentancur, and Clemson is now hoping to make it a tandem in the class. Just a state away at Weddington High School, his connection with the Tigers puts Swinney in a great spot to land Mauk as their 20th pledge of the class.
