Here is what is on the slate this week in the ACC.
Saturday
Syracuse (4-2, 0-2) at No. 4 Florida State (5-0, 3-0), Noon, ABC
Latest Line: FSU -17.5
What to watch for: Florida State is on an 11-game winning streak, the longest active streak in the ACC and the third-longest active streak in the country. The Seminoles are a perfect 20 for 20 in the red zone so far this season with quarterback Jordan Travis. Syracuse, who started 4-0 on the season have dropped their last two games, both in ACC play. This is also the Orange’s second consecutive matchup against a ranked opponent.
Wake Forest (3-2, 0-2) at Virginia Tech (2-4, 1-1), 3:30 p.m., ACCN
Latest Line: VT -1.5
What to watch for: Virginia Tech and Wake Forest are both coming off of road losses in ACC play last weekend. The Hokies 17 points scored against FSU marked the 363 consecutive games where they have scored points, the third longest active streak in the nation among FBS schools. Junior safety Malik Mustapha recorded a game-high tying nine tackles last weekend against Clemson.
No. 14 Louisville (6-0, 3-0) at Pitt (1-4, 0-2), 6:30 p.m., The CW
Latest Line: Louisville -7.5
What to watch for: Louisville is one of just five teams that are 6-0 to start the season and sit atop the ACC at 3-0 in conference play. Pittsburgh is looking to snap a four-game losing skid and pick up its first win in conference play. The Panthers have defeated at least one top-25 team in each of the past seven seasons under ninth year head coach Pat Narduzzi.
No. 25 Miami (4-1, 0-1) at No. 12 North Carolina (5-0, 2-0), 7:30 p.m., ABC
Latest Line: UNC -3.5
What to watch for: North Carolina is 3-0 at Kenan Stadium this season. UNC quarterback Drake Maye has thrown for at least 200 yards in all five games this season. Miami wideout Xavier Restrepo had a game-high 123 receiving yards, which included a long reception of 47 yards, in the loss to GT. This matchup will feature two of the top three quarterbacks in the ACC regarding passing efficiency. Tyler Van Dyke leads the ACC at 178.8 and Drake Maye is tied for third at 158.8
NC State (4-2, 1-1) at No. 17 Duke (4-1, 1-0), 8 p.m., ACCN
Latest Line: Duke -3
What to watch for: This year marks the 84th meeting on the gridiron between these two schools, with Duke leading the series, 41-37-5. NC State has won the past two meetings. With MJ Morris at quarterback for the Wolfpack, they are coming off of a 48-41 win over Marshall. Blue Devil quarterback Riley Leonard went down with an apparent lower leg injury against Notre Dame two weeks ago, which could be impactful.
