Renfrow Being Shopped by Raiders?

Is Hunter Renfrow on the trading block?

The former Clemson receiver is reportedly being shopped by the Las Vegas Raiders.

This weekend, The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reported that the Raiders are “trying to trade” Renfrow.

The news isn’t shocking considering his lack of involvement in the team’s offense this season, not to mention the fact there were a lot of trade rumors this past offseason surrounding Renfrow.

Renfrow was highly productive across his first three seasons with the Raiders, tallying 208 receptions for 2,299 yards and 15 touchdowns, including 103 catches for 1,038 yards and nine scores during his career 2021 season that saw him earn Pro Bowl honors.

However, after Josh McDaniels took over as the Raiders’ head coach in 2022, Renfrow recorded just 36 receptions for 330 yards and two touchdowns last season while being limited to 10 games due to injuries.

This season, through five games, Renfrow has caught just six passes for 59 yards while being targeted only nine times. He has played only 42 percent of the team’s snaps thus far in 2023.

A 2019 fifth-round pick of the Raiders, Renfrow signed a two-year, $32 million contract extension in June 2022 that keeps him under contract through the 2024 season.

The 2023 NFL trade deadline is set for Oct. 31 at 4 p.m. ET.
