Not only is Bryan Bresee a great player on the football field, but he’s an outstanding person off of it as well.
The former Clemson and current New Orleans Saints defensive lineman is giving back in a way that’s very important to him and using his platform to make a difference in the lives of others.
Bresee, the Saints’ 2023 first-round draft pick, recently visited with residents and caregivers at the American Cancer Society Patrick F. Taylor Hope Lodge in New Orleans.
Bresee helped volunteers serve donated dinners to people battling cancer and sat down to speak to them at length about their trials and triumphs.
Of course, doing all that meant a lot to Bresee, whose 15-year-old sister, Ella, passed away from brain cancer last year.
“Me and my family went through some very rough patches with cancer, with my little sister, so it’s very important for me to get out and spend time with people and just try to bring joy to families and patients alike,” Bresee said in the following social media video from the NFL.
