MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — One of Clemson’s top defenders appears to be dealing with an injury ahead of tonight’s game against Miami.
The Clemson Insider has confirmed that true freshman defensive lineman Peter Woods was in a walking boot prior to the Tigers’ game against the Hurricanes at Hard Rock Stadium.
Woods, a former five-star prospect, has played in all six games so far this season. The 6-foot-2, 315-pounder has played 140 total snaps while posting 10 tackles (one for loss) and four quarterback pressures.
Kickoff of Clemson’s game at Miami is set for an 8 p.m. kickoff on ACC Network.
