CLEMSON – Clemson is coming off a tough loss to Miami in double overtime last weekend. The Tigers say they are learning from their mistakes and will take that into Saturday when they face NC State in Raleigh.
Clemson wideout Adam Randall sat down with the media earlier this week to talk about the rest of the season, what it’s like to have his brother here and more.
–Adam Randall’s brother Austin is getting the opportunity to finish out his career at Clemson as a cornerback after playing for Coastal Carolina. Adam said, “It’s great to have him here…but he is a scout team guy that I go against every day.” He added, “My brother pushes me all the time…he knows what I need and he knows when to push and pull. I appreciate him being the brother that he is.”
–Randall had one catch-and-run against the Hurricanes that went for 34 yards. After knowing this season isn’t going how he projected it for himself so far, Randall said, “At the end of the day I am just going out there and being able to play for my team.” Randall said he is focusing on playing free and being more consistent.
–While the season hasn’t gone the way the Tigers were planning for it to go, there are still five guaranteed opportunities left for Clemson to play. There is a common goal amongst the Tigers and that is winning the turnover margin. Randall said, “I just think we’ve got to keep showing up consistently every single day and sticking to it, doing the things that we continue to do and just work on our turnovers…if we can win the margin in these last five games, we will go 5-0. I promise y’all that.”
The Tigers travel to Raleigh to take on the NC State Wolfpack at 2 p.m., this Saturday. The game will be aired on the CW Network.
