ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit discussed Clemson’s 31-23 win over No. 12 Notre Dame during ABC’s broadcast of the Washington game against Southern California.

Clemson’s Jeremiah Trotter Jr. won their Allstate Good Hands Play of the week with his interception that was returned for a touchdown Saturday afternoon against the Irish.

“Our good hands play is Trotter with a pick six,” Herbstreit said. “Clemson got backed into a corner, upset. Dabo was upset. They showed up with bad intentions. Georgia Tech coming up, North Carolina and South Carolina. Well they salvaged their season with that big win at home today.”
