“Just going in with the expectation of winning with Clemson, kinda being our in-conference rival, we would say I think that naturally brings out a little bit extra in everyone.”
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney on the upcoming matchup against Georgia Tech:
“This is a team that has found ways to win games and they are playing well as a team. It’s going to be a big challenge for us. It’s Clemson and Georgia Tech, it is always a big game and I look forward to the matchup on Saturday.”
Georgia Tech offensive lineman Jordan Williams said Clemson is probably the best defense they will face:
“Best Defense? Yeah, I probably would say that. Coaches are telling us they are the best defense because they are the next defense, so prepare for any other challenge as you would any other game.”
Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik said he is proud of the way the Tigers played last week:
“That’s how we should play every game, that’s the mentality we should have every game. I am just really proud of the way they played, and I have full confidence they are going to be able to do the exact same thing this week.”
Georgia Tech head coach Brent Key on Clemson’s standard its has set in the ACC:
“You talk about a standard and a standard they have set in this conference and the standard they have set nationally, eight ACC championships and two national championships all in the last 12 years. Our team is going to be really excited to go up there, we’re going to be excited to play our best game.”
Clemson defensive coordinator Wes Goodwin said Georgia Tech’s offense will be a huge challenge for the Clemson defense:
“They’re 14th or so in total offense (nationally) and putting up a lot of points, 33 points a game and a lot of yards. There is no easy out the rest of the way I can tell you that.”

“We’re learning a lot of different things and I feel like we’re growing as a team. All these hardships are bringing us closer together. Hopefully, we get some momentum down the stretch.”
