CLEMSON – Clemson will be missing another big piece on its defense against Georgia Tech.
Though he wasn’t listed on the availability report, Tigers linebacker Barrett Carter will not play in today’s game. The Clemson Insider saw Carter in street clothes on the sideline at Memorial Stadium.
Carter is second on the team with 54 tackles, seven for loss and two sacks. He’s also added five quarterback pressures on the year. Carter is the third Clemson defender that will not play in today’s game. The Tigers announced that cornerback Sheridan Jones will be out.
TCI also confirmed that safety Jalyn Phillips will not play, as he was seen in street clothes.
