Clemson Cracks College Football Playoff Rankings

The College Football Playoff Selection Committee revealed its latest set of top 25 rankings on Tuesday night.

Clemson (7-4, 4-4 ACC) cracked the CFP rankings for the first time this season, coming in at No. 24 following last Saturday’s 31-20 win over North Carolina.

The Tigers are riding a three-game winning streak in November that includes two wins over teams that have been in the CFP rankings — Notre Dame (currently ranked No. 18) and UNC (previously No. 20).

Clemson is one of four ACC teams in the latest CFP rankings, along with Florida State (No. 5), Louisville (No. 10) and NC State (No. 22).

The Tigers conclude the regular season Saturday with their rivalry showdown against South Carolina at Williams-Brice Stadium (7:30 p.m., SEC Network).
