The first Clemson player has announced he’s headed to the transfer portal after the season.
Quarterback Hunter Helms, originally a walk-on in the program, spent the last four years with the Tigers, but now he’s headed to the transfer portal. Helms announced the news via X.

Helms played in nine games over his Clemson career, finishing with 23 completions for 218 yards and two touchdowns. He’ll now be looking for a new home in college football.
