Wake Forest is taking a massive hit at quarterback by way of the transfer portal for a second-straight year.

The Demon Deacons quarterback situation changed quickly when Sam Hartman transferred following last season. History is repeating itself in Wake Forest.

Mitch Griffis, who started eight games this season, announced on X that he will be entering the portal as a graduate with two years of eligibility left.
