Another former Clemson player is putting his name back in the NCAA transfer portal.

Defensive back Fred Davis is planning to re-enter the portal, per reports.

A senior, Davis spent the 2023 season at UCF, appearing in only three games.

The former highly regarded prospect played 27 career games at Clemson from 2020-22. He was credited with 32 tackles (1.5 for loss), four pass breakups and a fumble recovery in 507 snaps over 27 career games (four starts) during his career as a Tiger.
