It’ll be a nearly a month since former Tiger Tee Higgins took the field when he suits up for the Cincinnati Bengals, and it comes at a poetic time with his Clemson partners in crime on the docket.
Higgins confirmed Friday he plans to return after his last game was Nov. 5. He described “no limitations” during the week and now circling Monday Night Football as his return, as reported by Mike Petraglia.

This is a crucial time for Higgins in a contract year that’s been plagued with injury. Over his first three season, he eclipsed 3,000 receiving yards with 19 touchdowns. As one of the most consistent receivers in the NFL, Higgins described it as “frustrating” when he’s unable to play.
Over the last couple seasons, the Bengals have become one of the most prolific offenses but Higgins’ absence limited those opportunities. For All-Pro receiver Ja’Marr Chase, Higgins re-entering the fold changed the energy in practice. The 6-foot-4 Higgins draws extra attention and it creates a symbiotic relationship in the offense.
While their reputation was already built, Biggins and Cincinnati will take on Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne and the Jacksonville Jaguars. It’ll be a reunion of 2018 national champions and Higgins’ return raises the quality that much.
With backup Jake Browning starting at quarterback, Higgins is another help to the offense and he “looks forward to catching balls from him” in the Week 13 matchup. With just six games to play, Higgins can raise his stock for once it’s time to talk contract and the Bengals need him to have any chance to get back in the AFC race.
