Clemson picked up a commitment from a local prospect on Monday.
Greer (S.C.) High School 2024 wide receiver Chase Byrd announced his commitment to the Tigers via X (formerly Twitter).
Byrd received a preferred walk-on offer from the Tigers back on Nov. 19.
As a senior this season, Byrd recorded 43 receptions, 684 yards, 11 touchdowns and 1,190 all-purpose yards.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder also posted two interceptions, six solo tackles and three tackles for loss in one game on defense.
