Clemson Key Defensive Player Enters Transfer Portal

Clemson has lost another key contributor to the transfer portal. This time, it comes on the defensive side.

The Clemson Insider has confirmed defensive back Andrew Mukuba has entered the portal after three seasons with the Tigers. He joined the program in 2021 and totaled 143 tackles during his Clemson career.

With the loss of Mukuba, Wes Goodwin will rely on the young talent that broke out in 2023. Khalil Barnes stepped in when nagging injuries kept Mukuba out this season, and now he’ll have an increased role in 2024 as the Texas native looks for a new home in college football.

Clemson has already lost wide receiver Beaux Collins, cornerback Toriano Pride Jr., offensive lineman Mitchell Mayes, quarterback Hunter Helms and running back Domonique Thomas to the transfer portal.
