What They Are Saying: Tigers Defeat Gamecocks to Stay Unbeaten

The Clemson men’s basketball team scored 49 points in the second half and finished with five double-digit scorers en route to a 72-67 win over South Carolina on Wednesday night in Littlejohn Coliseum.

The Tigers (8-0) overcame a seven-point halftime deficit to reclaim the Palmetto Series trophy. It marked the largest halftime deficit overcome to gain victory by Clemson in series history.

There was plenty of buzz on X (formerly Twitter) about the Tigers’ big victory over their in-state rival Gamecocks, who suffered their first loss of the season.
