One of Clemson’s transfer targets along the offensive line committed elsewhere Monday.
Alan Herron announced via social media that he has committed to Penn State.
Clemson was one of the first to offer Herron, who will be joining the Nittany Lions from Division II Shorter University.
The 6-foot-6, 310-pound sophomore held offers from many notable programs, and the Tigers were one of many trying to land his talents.
Herron was recently ranked No. 12 in ESPN’s ranking of the best players in the transfe portal.
