Swinney Talks How Tigers Hope to Put Finishing Touches on ‘24 Class

While Clemson’s 2024 class is mostly complete, the Tigers are still looking to put the finishing touches on their class in the final days leading up to next week’s early signing period.

On Tuesday, head coach Dabo Swinney discussed how his program hopes to supplement its class heading into the early signing period, which begins on Wednesday, Dec. 20.

“We need one more linebacker, and we feel pretty good about that,” Swinney said. “Actually feel really good about that.”

The Tigers are also aiming to add another offensive lineman, and they’ve been evaluating the transfer portal in an effort to address that need.

“We probably need, based on where we are, we probably need one more OL,” Swinney said. “We’ve been kind of on a few guys there, and that’s probably the one area that we’ve been evaluating the portal, honestly, for some need there.

“So, we’ll see how it shakes out. I think we’re in a pretty good spot.”

Clemson’s 2024 class, which is currently comprised of 18 commits, ranks No. 15 nationally right now according to 247Sports, the 247Sports Composite, Rivals and ESPN.
