CLEMSON — The 22nd-ranked Clemson Tigers held another bowl practice Thursday in preparation for the upcoming Gator Bowl vs. Kentucky.
The early portion of practice at the Allen N. Reeves Football Complex was open to the media.
One injury update of note is that starting tight end Jake Briningstool was among the players limited at Thursday’s practice.
The 6-foot-6, 230-pound junior was in a yellow (non-contact) jersey.
A third-team All-ACC selection, Briningstool has recorded career highs in receptions (41), receiving yards (407) and receiving touchdowns (five) in 12 games (11 starts) this season.
The Gator Bowl on Friday, Dec. 29 in Jacksonville, Fla., is set for a noon kickoff on ESPN.
