Bresee Goes Off for Saints in Crucial Game

The NFC South race is between three times and a former Clemson Tiger put his stamp on it in Week 15. Bryan Bresee continues to evolve for the New Orleans Saints, and he was a key member of a dominant defensive outing.

Late in the first half, the New York Giants were charging into Saints territory, but Bresee silenced it. He faced a double team before splitting the gap and taking down Tommy DeVito for his first sack of the day.

Bresee wasn’t done there and New Orleans continued to harass DeVito to the tune of seven sacks. The former Tiger added a second on the day, wrapping around and cleaning up after his fellow Saints forced DeVito into duress.

This was Bresee’s first two-sack performance of his career, and he’s up to 3.5 sacks on the year to go with 21 tackles. The performance came against two fellow Clemson greats in Dexter Lawrence and Isaiah Simmons. All three met up postgame to share a moment.
