The NFL can take some time to adjust to, but former Clemson Tiger Bryan Bresee is continuing to grow week-by-week. No example of this is bigger than his two-sack outing against the Giants.
While the product on the field is growing, he’s stepping up the celebration game as well. Taking on New York, the talk around the team is quarterback Tommy DeVito’s agent, Sean Stellato.
Yes, that’s Clemson wide receiver Troy Stellato’s uncle and that adds some extra spice to the celebration. Following each sack, the Saints did a hand gesture known for the Italian stereotype. Bresee was one of the orchestrators.
Not the sack celly!! 🤌😂

“We talked about it a little bit. I have a little bit of Italian blood in me so I had to throw it up. I feel like people started doing it after someone did it so it was funny,” Bresee said.
There’s always a meaning behind every celebration, and this one brought a good laugh for Bresee. As his rookie season approaches its end, New Orleans is battling for a playoff spot and the defensive line is a catalyst for it. With 11 sacks over their last two games, it’s leading the way and Bresee wants to ride that momentum into a playoff berth.
“I feel like our D-line thinks, you know, obviously we want to go in every week and get 10 sacks every week but it doesn’t always happen,” Bresee said. “Guys did a great job this week and hopefully we’ll be able to do it again next week.”
