Clemson Flips ACC OL Commit to Tigers

The Clemson Tigers wasted no time with a former Duke commit, and now he’s flipped his commitment.

Dabo Swinney and Matt Luke leaped into the recruitment of 2024 three-star offensive lineman Mason Wade. He was committed to Duke since June, but the Tigers made an offer to him last week before getting him into Clemson for an official visit Thursday.

These efforts succeeded, as the Tigers have flipped Wade’s commitment. The news that he’s joining Clemson was announced on signing day.

The Tigers now have several offensive linemen in their 2024 class, and Clemson’s quick work is evident after the hiring of Luke. That raises the class to 22 on Signing Day.
