Terrell Relives Iconic Pick-6 in National Championship Victory

All-Pro cornerback A.J. Terrell is now in his fourth season with the Atlanta Falcons after being selected by the franchise in the first round (16th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Before being drafted by the Falcons, Terrell starred at Clemson from 2017-19 and started the final 30 games of his career as a Tiger across his sophomore and junior seasons, including all 15 games in his first year as a starter in 2018.

A two-time All-ACC selection, Terrell capped that 2018 campaign in memorable fashion, scoring the first points of the College Football Playoff National Championship against Alabama on a pick-six that helped propel the Tigers to a dominant 44-16 victory over the Crimson Tide and perfect 15-0 season.

After falling to Alabama in the Sugar Bowl the previous season, Terrell and the Tigers were able to avenge that loss and capture Clemson’s second national title in three years.

The Falcons posted a cool video on their YouTube channel with Terrell reliving his iconic pick-six on Alabama’s opening drive. Check it out below:
